THE Cradock Biking Association will be holding their 2018 Polar Run in aid of the Cradock Animal Shelter.
The Polar Run will take place on June 9, but animal lovers who wish to support this project can now start placing any pet-related goodies into a trolley at Spar in Market Square.
Cradock Animal Shelter receives no government or municipal grants and relies totally on donations and funds raised by the staff.
The town cannot do without the shelter to look after the many stray or abused animals in town. They also offer much-needed accommodation to pets whose owners are going on holiday.
They call on the greater community to support this annual event and assist them in keeping their doors open and the animals happy.
