CRADOCK Cuyler is a man who has a knack for cooking and, as a result, often outshines even his wife, Robyn.
Even after 18 years of marriage he prefers to spice and taste her cooking before he finally approves it.
Cuyler loves to braai and, according to him, no braai is complete without this dip.
Whenever they are invited to a braai, the dip goes along.
He also likes to play the jester at times when he and his son, André, are together.
Cradock is an engineer at P.J. Engineering in Somerset East and he enjoys his job which he has been conscientiously doing for 25 years at the same firm.
He is also a great fan of stationary engines and vintage John Deere tractors and belongs to the EPVT&EC (Eastern Cape Vintage Tractor and Engine Club).
Easy garlic dip
Ingredients
250ml cream
3 – 4 cloves garlic crushed (don’t be scared)
½ teaspoon salt (to taste)
1 teaspoon sugar
Method
- Whisk all ingredients together until thick.
- Perfect for dipping chips or raw vegetables. A winner at every braai!
- Variations – Use sour cream instead of normal cream
- Add chilli sauce/powder.
