IN less than three weeks Darren Jacobus will be leaving his home town of Middelburg to compete in the 45th Talent America competition from July 8 to 12 in New York, USA.
He was selected at the Talent Africa Nationals as a member of the South African team to represent the country in New York.
During his visit to America, Darren will also attend a one-on-one workshop with the famous Bob Marks, which is indeed the opportunity of a lifetime for him.
Together with some of his SA teammates, he recently received his kit and plane tickets for the trip.
They will be leaving South Africa on July 3.
Unfortunately, Jacobus still needs approximately R22 000 to cover his expenses for the exciting event.
