KAROO-LUS, a celebration of one of nature’s most incredible landscapes, a festival celebrating local traditions, lifestyle, food, music, art, tourism and so much more, is set to go out with a bang this year.

The main objective of Karoo-Lus is to raise funds for charity. Local charity organisations, churches, schools, retirement homes and clubs make use of the opportunity to generate funds during the festival by engaging in arranging items on the festival programme and through sales at stalls.

In 2014, Montego Pet Nutrition, in conjunction with Botanies Sport Club, adopted Karoo-Lus as a charity and marketing project.

This year marks the end of the Karoo-Lus festival, but the celebration will be no less fun.

The festival gates will open at 12:00 on Friday, September 28 and end on Saturday, September 29. The festival will include artists, like Snotkop, The Parlotones, The Campbells and many more.

There will also be car shows, dog shows and activities, like squash tournaments and a half marathon. The South Africa vs Australia game will also be broadcast live on a big screen.

There will be food from all over the Karoo sold at stalls and lots of fun activities for the children.

With people travelling from all over the Karoo to come to the final Karoo-Lus, this promises to be a festival to remember.
