Nonesi Mall in Komani is committed to making a difference in its community. Mandela Week was an opportunity the Mall took to help others.

They selected a preschool that has some learners that come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Knowing that they are the ones who need assistance the most, Nonesi Mall connected with Minah T Soga Preschool. The school looks after babies, toddlers, and children up to the age of five.

“We donated two bags full of baby clothes, in partnership with Nonesi Mall store, Ackermans. We believe that together, bit by bit we can make a difference,” said Heloise Heuer, the Nonesi Mall centre manager.

Alice Jaca, the school principal of Minah T Soga Preschool said, “Nonesi Mall helped us a lot. We were able to give our preschool learners some much-needed clothes.

“Our school is struggling. When Komani businesses remember us like this, we are touched and grateful.”
