ON Sunday, July 29, the doors of SAEM New Birth Revival Centre opened in Pearston.
The opening ceremony was held by Pastor Henry Williams from Port Elizabeth, who is the SAEM chairman of the Eastern Cape Region. His wife, Sister Francis, accompanied him.
Other SAEM pastors who attended the event were Pastor Edward Jansen and his wife Leoni from Cradock and Pastor Anthony Richenburg and his wife Linda, also from Port Elizabeth.
Rev Franz Burger from the Uniting Reformed Church Pearston, Pastor and sis Koseba and Apostle Ligman from Pearston, were also amongst the guests.
Pastor Loci Burton van Gend and his wife Daniela welcomed the guests and local community.
They both gave a small background sketch of how the church has developed over the years.
The church members has faced many difficulties but kept their faith. Today they look back and see the New Birth of their congregation.
It was a joyful day and the sermon was delivered by Pastor Henry Williams.
