CRADOCK’S project to assist those who have not been able to find jobs, is growing quite well and a lot of children have shown interest in the sketch competition that the project announced last week.

Elsie Lyell, one of the conveners, has requested Mid Karoo Express to extend the invitation of the sketch competition to all children in Cradock and also in the surrounding districts.

In order not to waste a lot of paper, Lyell has announced that these sketches should only be 100 x 100cm and that competitors can enter one sketch only.

The sketch must be of a “tolbossie”, mountain zebra, the Congregational Church or any one or all of the Big Five.

Entries may be delivered to Elsie Lyell, Room 03 at the Police Station.
