Two learners from Dale College Boys’ (junior) School have died in a minibus accident that took place on the N2 just outside Qonce (King William’s Town) this afternoon, Tuesday, May 31.
According to the Eastern Cape Department of Transport spokesperson, Unathi Binqose, 14 others sustained injuries.
“It is alleged that the boys were travelling from a school event in East London when the driver lost control of the vehicle, killing the two boys on impact while one sustained critical injuries,” he said.
“The driver is among the injured that have been rushed to hospitals in Mdantsane and East London.”
The driver is also one of the injured rushed to hospitals in the area.
