THE Up4SA prayer meeting, which was conducted by Rev Arend Davids, was held at the Michausdal Community Hall on Sunday, February 25.
This initiative gave the community an opportunity to gather together and unite with prayer to bring about change within the community.
The community was welcomed by Dr Koos Abrahams. Thereafter Rev. Reginald Nel informed the community about the purpose of the meeting.
The prayer meeting included key areas of prayer, in which different clergy members prayed for our national and local government, the economy and the institution of marriage and families.
Those present received an opportunity to listen to Archdeacon Zweli Dumile Tom, of the Ascension Church, who gave a powerful sermon that moved all of those that were present.
A special word of thanks to Nomonde Calata for the beautiful decor which was done free of charge. This gesture was highly appreciated.
